ESAB INTRODUCE A BRAND NEW ADF WELDING HELMET TO THEIR RANGE!

The new SAVAGE A40 helmet replaces the old ESAB favourite, the Warrior Tech. Inspired by the success of the Sentinel A50, this new model has a range of features that provide the welder with ideal functionality, performance and comfort. Protection from heat, sparks and spatter is every bit as good as the familiar Warrior. The new high tech lightweight shell of the Savage A40 helmet provides ideal functionality and comfort across the board. 

The helmet is now supplied with two outer and one inner replacement lens FREE OF CHARGE !

For the starting welder we also offer a great welding helmet package which gives you 2 spare lenses, a sweatband and a pair of ESAB's high quality curved MIG gauntlets.

It's an ideal choice for the occasional welder, maintenance & construction worker through to the professional welder. Because the helmet uses the most up to date ADF technology, its auto darkening filter delay and sensitivity can be adjusted. to meet the demands of a wide range of welding situations. 

This is courtesy of its array of 4 arc sensors. This is especially useful if you have to move between jobs. Transition from high amperage welding to welding low amp TIG, where the reaction to the "darker" arc light; is more convenient to deal with. Older helmet models can be slow and fiddly to adjust settings frequently.

Another really helpful benefit is the delay control for lightening of the filter. This enables the welder to set how long the lens stays dark after the welding arc stops. A short delay setting helps get the job done faster during tack welding, whilst a longer delay is useful for high amperage welding.

Not only is the lens reactive, its clarity and larger (100 x 50mm) size viewing area give the user an exceptional view of the work. The enhanced definition, True Colour characteristics give the welder a much more realistic view of the work in progress. The class leading field of view also allows much better spatial awareness, that's important in some confined workspaces.

And then when you need to switch to weld grind, the grind button is conveniently located on the outside.
