ESAB G40 Air Helmet (90 x 110mm) c/w EPR-X1 PAPR Unit - Package

The ESAB G40 Air fed welding helmet with its ESAB PAPR unit gives the welder a traditional flip up welding helmet, housing a passive mineral filter. The G40 is robust enough to use as a grinding helmet as well.

This model of the G40 has the larger viewing port with flash protection provided by a 90 x 110mm passive mineral glass filter with a shade rating of DIN 10. The large plastic lens, inside the mineral filter, gives the welder an unobstructed field of view when the external visor is flipped up.

The helmet has excellent impact resistance classification and is rated B, allowing it to be used confidently for grinding jobs. The combination of specifications designed into this product means that the G40 is a combined welding and grinding helmet with a very economical price point.

This helmet is suitable for the following welding processes: MMA stick welding, MIG, MAG, TIG, grinding, oxy fuel cutting, plasma cutting and plasma arc welding. All in all an incredibly good value basic welding helmet.

If the welder needs a helmet with an ADF automatic darkening filter (shade levels DIN 9-13), then the G50 Air is a good economical alternative.

There is also a version with a slightly smaller viewing port: the G40 60 X 110mm air fed helmet package.
