Gas Hoses

Whether you need a flexible feed line for MIG/TIG shielding gas or heavy-duty, colour-coded rubber hose assemblies for oxy-acetylene and oxy-propane setups, we supply workshop-grade gas hoses and fittings from Specialised Welding Products (SWP).

Clear braided PVC hose is the industry standard for delivering low-pressure shielding gas, including pure Argon, CO₂, and Argon/CO₂ mixes, from regulators and flowmeters to the solenoid on your MIG or TIG machine.

• Sizes stocked: 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", and 3/8" inside bore diameter.

• Buying options: Available per metre for quick repairs and custom bench connections, or in full 30-metre trade coils for complete workshop installs and ring mains.

• Bore selection: Match the hose bore to your regulator outlet barb and machine inlet to ensure unrestricted gas flow (LPM) and prevent surging.

For oxy-fuel cutting, heating, and gas welding, we stock heavy-duty 10 mm bore SWP rubber hose assemblies in 5-metre and 10-metre lengths.

The 10 mm internal bore ensures maximum gas flow volume with minimal pressure drop over distance, making it ideal for standard to heavy-duty cutting torches.

All lines are manufactured to BS EN ISO 3821 and colour-coded for safety:

Fuel vs. oxygen threads: All fuel gas fittings, including red acetylene and orange propane, feature left-hand (LH) threads with a distinctive notch machined into the hex nut flats. Oxygen lines use standard right-hand (RH) threads to prevent accidental cross-connection.

Lining formulations: Never swap fuel gas lines. Propane/LPG hoses are formulated to resist breakdown from liquid petroleum hydrocarbons, whereas acetylene hoses are specifically compounded to prevent acetylene gas permeation and lining degradation.

Connectors: We also stock standard brass hosetails, including 1/4" hose to 1/4" BSP nut, for building secure, leak-free regulator and torch connections.
